I gave a girlfriend a copy of your book last week, not knowing anything about her history. Because I met her about six months ago.
I gave her a brief synopsis of the book and she just stared at me, and didn't say a word. Within 30 min of reading the book, she started crying. She had to put the book down.
It turns out she went through a similar thing with her father. As I said, I new nothing about this before I gave her the book.
She thanked you for the book and took some solace that she was not alone in going through that pain."

"I learned so much.My father was in my house from birth to my teen years but I was never close to him. Only later in my adult life did we find a real connection. Reading this book was incredibly healing for me in so many ways. Even if you had a great relationship with your dad, this book can open your heart, soul and mind to some wonderful insight, healing and life lessons. It's a great read for and anyone in any stage in life. I truly enjoyed it."

"Toots, MACnificently Made was truly THAT!
Once I started reading it, I just didn't want to put it down. Started OMW to ATL. I stopped @ the end of Ch. #2 upon landing.
Anxiously, I picked up from Ch #2 'Reflections' traveling back home. I was sleepy after surviving only 3 to 4 hours daily from partying until very late Thursday thru to Sunday.. but NO, I had to get to the end quickly, so I pressed on til I landed back @ PBI @ Ch. #6..
Been tired & asleep alll day & 1st thing I picked up this afternoon was the book to finish up from where I left off.. I'm now DONE.. & wishing there were more stories 😁
As an adult, when I reflect back to my immediate family life & friendships .. I've known that I'm both Lucky & Blessed..
Altho, my dad left when I was 5, he was still in my life until the moment he passed..
My mum sacrificed and made sure I had everything. Lucky me! Plus, I have the BEST siblings & a couple close cousins & friends that are like our extended family..
& when I meet the few friends @ home, it's usually just a continuation of great friendships..
Everyone's story was QUITE moving..
& I liked how U did the REFLECTIONS .. those women are STRONG! & beyond words making it thru.. Kudos to all of them..
I'm no book critique, but it was a definite EZ read, making me not want to put it down..
